Although Mark Bando has an A.B. Cum Laude degree from Stanford University, where he majored in philosophy, he's learning a new trade as an apprentice lithographer in New York. Mark was a block manager at the Central Utah Relocation Center until November 1943, when he came to New York. He was born in San Francisco and had lived in San Mateo, where he and his brothers operated a sporting goods business for many years.
