In a Des Plaines, Illinois, Photo Finishing Plant, Sakiko Shiga, former resident of Seattle, Washington, feeds snap shot prints into a photo dryer. Sakiko, who is engaged to a proprietor of the firm, who is now in the army, was a sophomore at the University of Washington at the time of evacuation of persons of Japanese ancestry from the west coast.
