Mission San Juan Capistrano. View of a garden with adobe building behind the garden. Tiled roof and small window are visible. The Mission was founded in 1776 with a large spurt in building occurring in 1794. Walls were made of adobe, roofs of heavy tile and floors of "mission" tile or packed earth.
