Title:

George Walker alias McDermott was arrested in this city March 16th, 1880, with James McCaul, No. 3188, and George Lupton, No. 4561, on two charges of asslt. to murder and was sent to San Quentin for twelve years and six months. On March 16th, 1870, he was sent to San Quentin for two years from Los Angeles for burglary. On June 12th, 1874, he was sent to San Quentin for one year for Grand Larceny from Sacramento. On February 19th, 1878, he was sent to San Quentin for one year for Grand Larceny from Sacramento. On August 28th, 1880, he was transferred to Folsom and on trying to make his escape from there on August 4th, 1881, he was shot dead by a guard.
